Hand crafted of Central American Guanacaste, this beautiful tray serves a variety functions – place it on the countertop to store kitchen essentials, use it on the dining table as a serving tray or arrange it on a side table as a decorative display piece. Like all handcrafted items, each tray is one of a kind and features its own unique grain pattern.
Central American Guanacaste grows to be an extremely large tree, often growing hundreds of feet tall and easily 10' and larger in diameter. Each piece is unique, some have straighter grain but many pieces have wild swirls, especially if there were any limbs coming off the side. The color varies from tree to tree, some will be a light brown and others can be a very deep rich brown with darker brown or golden grain markings.
It is widely grown as a shade tree to shelter coffee plantations and for shade and forage for cattle.
This tray measures 19.25" wide by 9.75" deep and .625" deep. The handles are 6" long.
