This West African Padauk Trivet is unique in several ways. On one side it accomodates round bottom pots or bowls and on the other side flat bottom ones. It also easily comes apart in two pieces for easy storage.
Padauk is an exotic wood from Africa that is a bright orange or almost crimson wood when freshly cut, but over a long period of time can turn to a darker, rich purple-brown.
